How did you guys think of this amazing idea?

Good question – and really our most frequently asked question!  We wanted to do something about all the vans on the streets returning to the distribution centres empty handed.  That, combined with the idea that you should be able to decide where you want your stuff to be picked up, brought us Plukkup!

I don’t have a box. What to do?

Find a box! Or an envelope! A box is the best protection though! Boxes to look for: shoe box, banana box, moving box.  You can put clothing in a bag or solid plastic.

What happens when there is no one at the pick-up point?

It happens, don’t worry.  You can either cancel your order an get 50% of your costs reimbursed or you can change your order to a different date or (pick-up/delivery) address and pay EUR 2.99 in admin costs.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes you can if you do so at least 24 hours in advance.  All costs will be reimbursed.  If you cancel your order less than 24 hours in advance, we can reimburse 50% of your costs.

I missed the pick-up because I was away… What to do?

Oops! Contact us.  We will place a new pick-up order for you on the next business day (extra admin costs are EUR 2.99).

My parcel will be picked up today. When will the driver arrive?

Your parcel will be picked up between 9 am and 5.30 pm. On the day of the pick-up, it is possible for us to give you a more accurate indication for the morning or the afternoon.  It’s all about planning.

Can I print the label myself?

Yes, that is possible. If you do, please clearly state this when filling out the addresses in the comment box. We will then send the label to you by email for you to print and stick on your parcel.

What should I do when my parcel has not been picked up?

Contact us! It does not happen often, but when it does we can easily fix it and arrange for an alternative pick-up.

Can I change my order?

You can change your order on week days until 1 pm on the business day before the day your parcel is picked up.  It is currently not possible to make changes after your parcel has been picked up.

Do I get a Track & Trace code?

Yes, we can send you a Track & Trace email when your parcel has been picked up.

Are your prices including VAT?

Yes, all prices mentioned on our website include a 21% VAT charge. When you place an order, you will receive an invoice that mentions the VAT charged separately.

I forgot my stuff at a hotel. Can you help me?

Yes! We certainly can! We pick up parcels everywhere.  We have also agreed on specific arrangements with certain hotels to pick up the forgotten stuff for their guests.

I am not a business. Can I use your service?

Yes, whether you are a private individual or a company, you can always order a pick-up through Plukkup.  No more high fees for couriers J and arranged within 5 minutes!

Can I get additional insurance for my parcel?

Yes, of course.  If you want extra insurance, please contact us and we will arrange.

When will you pick up the parcel?

Every pick-up that is ordered before 5 pm can in principle be picked up on the next day.  You can choose the pick-up date yourself through our website.  Any pick-up ordered after 5 pm, can only be picked up the day after the next.  Currently it is not possible to choose an exact pick-up time.  We are working on it!

What can you pick up?

Almost anything! As long as it fits into one of the three categories in terms of sizes and weights and fits in a box!

Only ship your tableware, glass or any other fragile items if it is wrapped carefully – it is your risk.  Of course we will handle your parcel with care.  However, because the parcel may be shipped to you through several distribution centres or expedition companies, we do recommend that you do not send your grandmother’s Ming Vase without any wrapping.

What DON’T we ship?  Weapons, illegal substances, protected species (or any other animal for that matter) and any other stuff that you know you should not ship.  If it feels wrong, it is probably wrong.  If in doubt: please contact us and we will sort it out!  See also our terms and conditions for more info.

Which sizes?

We accept 3 categories of parcels:

Small: max. 50x50x40 and max. 5kg

Medium: max. 60x50x50 and max. 15kg

Large: max. 80x60x50 and max. 25kg


From where to where?

We currently pick up parcels throughout Europe and deliver these to wherever you want them.  This unfortunately excludes the ‘Wadden’ islands of Vlieland, Ameland and Schiermonnikoog and the Canary Islands.  We deliver our services through our logistical partners.  Pick up from or delivery to hotels and holiday parks are of course not a problem!  We will provide the label for your parcel; the pick-up driver will bring the label.
